On KDE Plasma (Wayland) the shortcut works through KDE's global shortcuts. Replies are inserted into fields that support accessibility editing (AT-SPI); other fields need the .deb install plus the optional replyfive-kwin-broker companion (Ubuntu 24.04, x86_64) — otherwise nothing is inserted.

Set up

Download the AppImage.
Make it executable and open it.
Sign in and grant the OS permissions it explains.
Press the shortcut once in a reply field.

It never sends for you

ReplyFive inserts one generated reply into the original field and closes quietly. Review it, then send it yourself.
